Golf Gorraiz was built by the well-respected American course architect, Cabell B Robinson. Although he’s probably better known for his most recent courses like La Reserva, Santan and Finca Cortesin, this one was created way back in 1995.
This is a fantastic course, set in rolling countryside with three magnificent lakes and stunning views of the surrounding Navarre Mountains. It’s a par 72 course and although relatively flat, has plenty to challenge you.
A tough finish
This 18-hole course sits in a parkland setting with wide, open fairways and a string of six doglegs to test you. You’ll encounter some fairly long stretches along the way and an extra challenge when water comes into play. The round ends with a 450-yard par four, so you’ll need to be on your game. With a great restaurant, driving range and putting green, this is a course that’s well worth visiting and one guaranteed to give you a great day out.
