As you wander these picturesque towns, there’s nothing like the joy of finding a tiny, intimate restaurant overlooking the sea, serving up fresh Mediterranean fish caught that day.
In this region, you’ll find plenty of places like that, as well as more than its fair share of Michelin star establishments and those offering stylish haute cuisine.
But don’t forget to visit the markets too, where there are some wonderful culinary delights to be had. While many local Provençale dishes grace the menus if you’re into seafood make sure you try the delicious Bourride or fish soup. It’s like the Côte d’Azur in a bowl!
