Golf de Chantaco
Designed by the renowned Harry Colt and founded by the Lacoste family, Golf de Chantaco is one of the most celebrated courses in the region and definitely worth the trip.
This beautiful course sits right underneath the imposing Pyrenees, offering some of the most outstanding views. Golf de Chantaco also boasts an excellent restaurant with a terrace overlooking the 1st hole. There is also a nearby Pro shop stocked with the latest in Lacoste apparel.
With the majestic Pyrénées as a constant backdrop, it would be tough not to enjoy this course. There are also great lunches on offer in the clubhouse overlooking the 1st and 18th holes.
Woodland and water
This enjoyable yet challenging course is made up of two distinct halves one of which It twists and turns through woodland for the first nine holes before water comes into play on the back nine.
Wide, generous fairways are not common here, so some straight hitting is required.
