Menaggio and Cadenabbia was originally founded by four English gentlemen who first met in 1907. The course was extended to 18 holes in 1919 and then completely redesigned in 1965 by John Harris. The course remains to this day imbued with considerable English charm and style. This extends to the library of leather bound golf tomes in the original clubhouse.
The course is woodland in style and located along the eastern shore of Lake Como. Lake Como is just twenty miles north of the city of Como. Tight fairways, steep terrain, mixed woodland and compact greens make for a fantastic and unique golfing experience.
This club cannot be missed during your Italian Lake visit. The aesthetic pleasures of the course with its magnificent views of Lake Como are unmissable.
