From the moment you step onto the first tee, you’ll realise Golf de Seignosse demands respect. We normally suggest a golf course planner to help you navigate the blind shots and well-placed traps you’ll encounter.
This course really does have the most stunning scenery, the kind that can stop you in your tracks. The fairways are lined with a myriad of oak and cork trees. However, should your ball head off in their direction, don’t despair. They’re well managed and normally allow an escape back into play.
Golf de Seignosse: a ‘must play’ course
There’s plenty to challenge you on this superb creation of a course and only the brave (or desperate) will ‘grip it and rip it’.
Although hilly in places, it’s no problem as there are buggies with GPS on board to ease your way around the glorious topography.
At the end of a hard day’s golf, head for the terrace of the newly refurbished, contemporary clubhouse. It’s the perfect place to grab a glass of something cold and settle back to watch the sun go down over the 18th green.
