Although relatively short at 5376 metres, legendary course architects Willie Dunn and Harry Colt both had a hand in building it. For a gentle, relaxing round of golf, this course will fit the bill perfectly.
Twinned with Augusta National
A beautifully manicured and pleasant parkland course, Golf de Biarritz is located just inland from the town’s main lighthouse and follows the original Biarritz layout known as ‘Le Phare’. After a tough day on the green, the smart clubhouse will sort you out with lunch, dinner or just light refreshments – all at the high standard you’d expect in this part of the world.
Despite its easy terrain, this par 69 course is certainly not a walk in the park. You’ll really feel its character when the wind blows along with a fair share of fast greens, bunkers and wire-like rough to throw at you. It would be a shame to come all this way and not experience such a fine, old course. Give it a go, we know you won’t be disappointed.
